1. SUMMARY/BIOGRAPHY

Dr Francis Boateng Agyenim is the Director of The Institute of Industrial Research, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, Ghana. As a Director, Dr Agyenim is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Institute of Industrial Research. Dr Agyenim worked as the Dean of Graduate School at Ghana Technology University College (GTUC), Accra Ghana between September 2012 and November, 2016. He was the academic and administrative head, responsible for providing leadership and direction for the development, implementation and reporting on teaching, research, service and administrative goals and objectives of the Graduate School. He has extensive experience in teaching, research and administration, overseeing effective implementation of programmes, securing funding and conducting cutting-edge research and leading knowledge transfer partnerships in three world class Universities in the UK – Cardiff, Ulster and Nottingham Universities. He holds a PhD in Solar Energy Engineering (UK), MSc in Energy Conversion and Management (Germany) and BSc in Metallurgical Engineering (Ghana).
