MMD undertakes research and development activities in the areas of materials and manufacturing. Areas of R&D activities include identification, characterization and beneficiation of materials, wood-plastic composite research, fly ash and coupling agents from vegetables oils as well as R&D into high alumina refractories and extraction of bioactive ingredients from plant for herbal drugs.
